Summer 2011

The kids have had a lot of fun this summer but are happy to be going back to school in a week and a half. The boys both played basketball this summer and did great. Blake was the number one rebounder in the whole league and even made the all star team! Dylan was a point guard for his team and always played great.

We went to the beach once a week and went to plenty of parks. Bri and I took just the boys to Knotts Berry Farm one Saturday and had a blast. We went up to Utah for 2 weeks and went to Lagoon, the Childrens Museum, the cabin, Thanksgiving Point, saw the Smurf movie and did plenty of swimming. On our way home to California, we stopped in Las Vegas and stayed overnight. We went to the Coke and M&M stores on the strip and Carter was obsessed with the Coke bear and didn't want to leave:)

Brian and I went on an trip for 6 days to NYC, Boston and Maine while my parents and Brian's Dad watched our kids. We had so much fun and ate lots of good food including several lobster rolls (yum). We went to 2 plays in NYC, an NBC tour, a comedy show, Jewish Museum in NYC, Quincy Market in Boston, a freedom trail tour, a Boston Red Sox game and stayed in a beautiful bed and breakfast in Maine.

We are ready for school to start. Blake will be in 4th grade, Dylan in 2nd and Sydney will be in Kindergarten! Carter is going to miss the kids when they start school.
