Sydney had a great birthday this year. Since her birthday was also on Easter Sunday, we decided to see my parents and sister's family in Palm Springs and spent the night there. When we woke up Sunday morning, the kids had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard and got a few presents from the Easter bunny and their grandparents.
After we got back from church, we had a yummy ham dinner and then had a pinata for Sydney. We only had a metal bat so after Sydney had her 2 swings, Dylan was up next. Sure enough, on his second swing he opened the pinata. Later we had cake and opened presents. Sydney loved ever minute of her birthday "day."
We also went to Knotts Berry Farm with the Andersons and my parents. It was a lot of fun, although some of our group choose to be wimpy and go on only a few rides! Thanks to Joe, Brooke, Connor and Mikayla for going on some really fun rides with me:) Brian was out of town so he missed out on a fun day.
